June 2007
Hello everyone, time for an update on what's been going on in my life.
Things have been incredibly busy of late, just finished working on a new movie called Tenebrous. Check out the Tenebrous IMDB Listing here, or the Tenebrous MySpace page here. Due out in 2008, it's a supernatural thriller about a darkness deep in the woods where I play the part of Ed Brasser. My character is one of those good ol' boy types who gets all the town people stirred up at all the strange things going on in their town. The movie is directed by Joel Bender and also starring Costas Mandylor, Louis Mandylor and Brad Thornton. I have to mention that it was an honor to work with this particular stunt crew (gsfxandstunts.com) on this movie. I've never seen a more professional crew who did such amazing things with fire, and Ron Balicki setting himself on fire was a sight to be seen.
I'm looking at doing a new movie next month called "Saint Dementia" which is being directed by Mike Jones and produced by Brian Shullie. More info on that as it comes in.
Hope to have some new pictures on the site soon from some of the movie shoots, so be patient, but check back soon.
Hope everyone is having a great year and we'll chat again soon.

It's great to be back at my website and getting back into the public eye. This past year has been mostly dedicated to some lucrative business dealings which have been very rewarding. However, I have missed the fans and am ready to get back to the wrestling and acting that is in my blood.
I am looking at doing some wrestling appearances between now and December, so keep an eye on the Latest News to see if I'll be coming to your town. For promoters, if you are interested in booking please contact Kat.
A rumor has been floating around about my appearing in a feature film and I can confirm that it is in the works. The movie is called "Ghost Town" and stars Dan Haggerty and Bill McKinney. More info on that as it continues to develop.

My love for sports has taken another interesting turn as well. I've recently been doing Superbike (Street Motor Racing) and thinking of doing some events in the future.
For those of you in the Gastonia, NC area - stop by Rapid Cash Refund Inc, 3335 S. York, Gastonia, NC 28052, 704-853-2216. This is one of the businesses I've been partnering with lately and I'll be popping in and out of there from January 2007 to April 2007. Come on down for your financial needs and leave with an autographed photo!

First off I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and having fun doing what they love. Also, hope that you all enjoy the new look for the website. Keep the comments and questions coming, I love interacting with the fans.
Things have been busy for me lately, mostly in the acting and modeling areas. Currently I am working on a new film called "Facing Reality". The movie is being directed Dana Wilson and produced by Chris Aagaard and is being released for the Sundance Film Festival next year. We'll have more info as it comes in for you.
I recently filmed "Undcover Kids" which is due out early 2005, I play the role of Editor and Chief of a newspaper who has a little romance with the leading lady.
It was exciting to be part of a new marketing technique being tried out by Walmart. I filmed a Tostitos commercial which will be aired inside Walmarts worldwide. So next time you are shopping at your favorite local store, don't forget to watch the mini show!
I did an ad for the reality show "Switched" not too long ago. The ad appeared in numerous magazines; People, Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide, etc., plus a giant billboard in the LA area. Speaking of reality shows.....watch for me to appear on "Live Like a Star" on Fox in the near future. We film on July 22nd, and we'll let you know more as the air date gets close - guess who I've chosen to Live Like a Star?
Still wrestling for AWA of course and looking forward to the upcoming show in Ladysmith, Wisconsin next month and then in Duluth this October. Don't forget to come out and see us, it's going to be a great show. We have a few more things in the works, we'll keep you updated.
On a personal note we had 2 birthdays this month, on the same day! My boys were both born on July 24th two years apart so we had a great time celebrating their birthdays.
As always, thanks to you all for your continued support, til next time!

Hello all, time again for another update on what's going on with my life and my career.
First, I want to thank you all for your enthusiastic response to the new Fan Section. Please keep sending in your comments and questions, I enjoy reading them all. There will be more updates on that area this week so check back soon. Another thanks to all who sent me birthday cards, they were great!
Lately I have been working with the Russ Haas Sports Medicine Foundation. Recent deaths in the pro and amateur wrestling industry have prompted the need to further educate people in this business who use drugs. The impact on the heart and other physical effects of growth type stimulants has long lasting and possibly fatal consequences on a person. If there is anyone who wishes to assist with this research, I highly encourage you to visit; http://www.non-profit.org/privacy. There are many big names involved with this foundation such as Bill McKenney and Joe Penny to name a few.
I have recently signed a deal with Teamwork Entertainment to do a horror film in this next year with Micheal Tristano. They have bought the option of my time for a number of weeks and I look forward to filming. I'll update you all as details become more available.
As to wrestling, I'm still very much involved and enjoying my time wrestling. I'm still the champion with AWA, and don't plan to give up that belt anytime soon. I'll be defending the title in December, further updates to come on that appearance.
I do try to keep up with WWE since it's the only game readily available on television and many of my friends are working there. However, I am honestly dissappointed of late with the product they are putting out. The realism aspect of what they are showing and saying takes so much away from the true feeling of professional wrestling. When HHH told that he really was dating Stefanie; when Shane who is truly not a professional wrestler can beat someone like Kane; or worse when we are expected to believe that a man beats his own daughter on national television; I find no entertainment value in that. Let's get back to a real story, one that could have a possiblity of truth and stick with it for more than a week or two, then I may find myself entertained again.
As always, thanks to you all for your continued support, til next time!

Hey everyone. Hope you are all enjoying your summer so far. Things have been moving along very well for me lately. First and foremost, we just welcomed a new baby boy into our family this July. Everyone is healthy and happy and we feel truly blessed.
Most of you have seen my 'new look' by now. It was time for a change from the old Evan Karagias look, hope you all enjoy the "new me". With my career being between the two worlds of wrestling and acting, the current style is more in tune with the times.
I've been working hard to keep the belt with AWA, there have been some tough competitors but I've managed to hold on to it - and plan to keep it. Check my appearances to see if I'll be coming near your town in the future.
Things had been a bit slow with wrestling because people assumed I was still affiliated with the evil Vinny Mac but I think most understand now that I'm not with that organization and the opportunities are coming in.
Lately I've been doing some acting at Steve Easton Studios, plus some shoot Jui Jitsu fighting with Rickson Gracie. Both have been great workouts and a wonderful learning experience for me.
Getting ready for some more photo shoots with PWI (Professional Wrestling Illustrated) to be included in an upcoming issue. I'll have more details for you on that as the time draws near.
Don't forget to visit the new Fan Section of my website. If you haven't signed up for my free Email Newsletter, please do so for all the latest delivered right into your mailbox. We'll be posting answers to some of the Fan Q&As that have come in tomorrow, so check back. It's very important to me to keep in close touch with the fans and I love hearing from you all. Even though I don't have time to personally respond, I do appreciate all the feedback and great comments from each of you.
Thank you all, til next time!

Hey all, long time no chat! Sorry about the delay in keeping you all updated with what's going on but things have been very busy for me lately. I'll try to keep you more updated in the future.
Still wrestling with AWA, had a great match on Friday (March 28) against Horshu. Far as I'm concerned, that belt is mine. The pin was called by a guest referee, Rob from the Survivor Thailand series on television. That crooked owner said it wasn't a fair call and reversed the decision. Don't worry, I'll get that title back anyway I can.
Other than wrestling a bit, I've been keeping busy with doing spots on various television shows. I recently had the opportunity to make an appearance on the series "Kingpin". I play one of the people in drug rehab.
Also recently got to beat up a doctor on the television show E.R. Sorry about that doc, just doing my job! I just finished doing some more work for them playing the role of a fireman as well. Keep tuned to the show to catch me!
Both of these were wonderful experiences and I thank all on the show for a great time.
The real fun I've been having lately is hanging with the Ruff Riders (motorcylists). I've been enjoying my time with this group a great deal.
On a personal note, my wife and I are expecting our third child in July, it's a boy and we are
both very excited about the upcoming new edition to our family.
We'll have some new photos for you all on the Photo Gallery in the very near future, so check back soon. Thank you all, til next time!

A huge thanks to all who have sent emails and comments regarding the new website. I do read all your mail and while I don't have time to respond to each one, I truly appreciate your thoughts and kind words.
Still the reigning AWA Champion! Many have tried to take the belt away from me permanently and some have given me incredible battles - but I have persevered and continue to wear the AWA Championship belt with pride. Don't forget to check the Appearances page to see if we are coming to an area near you.
My appearance on the Soap Opera "Passions" was a great experience working with everyone on the show and I had a wonderful time. I'm following up on other avenues regarding some future appearances with daytime television. Keep your eyes on the site here for any news - you never know where I'll be popping up next!
A special thanks to Brother Douglas for providing his amazing talent for the tune "Good Man". You can listen to the song created specifically for me by clicking here.
Check out the August 2002 Issue of PWI (Pro Wrestling Illustrated) for an article I had the pleasure of doing. Special thanks to PWI for selecting to do a piece on me.
I'd like to end this commentary on a serious note. The horrible 9/11 attacks on New York are still being felt all over the world, particularly with family and friends of those who lost loved ones. Even though it has been a few months now since this tragic event, please don't forget them. I encourage you to contact the Red Cross (click here) or an organization of your choice to help with a donation of some kind. We need to remember to be kind to one another every day in this sometimes confusing world.
Thank you all, til next time!

Finally after a long absence my official website has re-opened. It's great to be back on the net and be able to touch base with the fans once again. Stick around because we'll be adding many more options and items for you to enjoy.
The past year has been a very interesting one, there have been many changes in my life. First, of course, being the end of WCW as we knew it. My contract officially expired earlier this year and I am happy to be back in the ring. Currently I hold the championship belt for AWA with whom I have been a part of since March of this year. Check out my appearances page to see when we might be coming to an area near you.
On a personal note, we recently moved out to Los Angeles and things are going very well. I have kept myself busy writing a screenplay so this is the right place to be to investigate the options for that. My career has always included film and television ties so it's a natural progression for me and something I really like doing. I have been actively pursuing all options careerwise, but wrestling will always come first.
I'll be staying very involved with the website and plan to have new commentaries for you at least once a month. We'll keep the appearances, latest news, and photo galleries updated on a regular basis, plus we have the message forum as well, so come back often.
Thanks for stopping by, make yourself at home and enjoy.
